Massage therapy is a holistic technique that affects all systems of the body. We all know stress is detrimental to our health. Massage therapy helps to make us more aware of how and where our stress is manifesting (in the form of tension within the body.) Massage releases this tension allowing the body’s own energy to heal itself. In addition to the myriad of specific issues massage can assist in alleviating, it also improves circulation, aids in sleeping, and, of course, reduces stress.
